About Points North Systems

Points North Systems is a Pittsburgh based software development company and was first established in 2001 and became incorporated in 2002 by its owner John McGuire. Points North serves clients and customers all over the United States by delivering quality software develop solutions and products. In 2005, Points North developed and made available the SHAPE Assessment System. The SHAPE System gives churches and other faith-based organizations an online tool to allowing their congregations and membership to take an online giftedness assessment and make the results of that assessment available to the user and church administrators. This tool helps the church identify their God given talents in an effort to get them plugged in and serving in their local church. In 2012, Points North released Shelby Mobile, a tool for helping Shelby church administrators access Shelby database information remotely and while on the go. In 2014, Points North released CheckInPad, a native iPad app that allows for easy check-in of kids and adults into various events within the Ministry Platform church management system. Later in 2015, Points North followed up with a much needed Integration Tool between Ministry Platform and Planning Center Online, two very popular church management software systems. Again in 2016, Points North has been hard at work developing MP Extensions, a text messaging engine, email buttons and utilities used for helping church members easily communicate and get connected with their Ministry Platform church. Points North continues to pursue is vision and purpose in serving its clients with quality software development services and products.
